Dinosaur Costume Felt Doll Pattern
A sleepyhead dressed as a dinosaur, with spikes down his back and little teeth over his forehead. The green costume with a tail and a scaly tummy is simply irresistible. For little dino fans, it's a guaranteed win!
What the finished toy looks like
A boy fast asleep in a green dinosaur onesie with a hood, teeth and spikes along the back. The tail has a spiky edge, and the beige tummy is embroidered with scales. A huge favourite with kids.
What you'll need
- Felt sheets in the colours shown in the photo (fabric, craft foam or coloured paper work too)
- Embroidery thread and a needle, or fabric glue if you'd rather not sew
- Small, sharp scissors
- A little toy stuffing for a softer finish (optional)
- Beads or buttons for details, if you like
How the templates work
The templates for Felt Boy Dino are printed in Volume 2, ready to cut out of the book. There is no need for a photocopier or printer. Every pattern is printed twice, so you can cut one set of templates and keep the other for later, or fix a mistake without starting over.
Inside you'll also find a photo of the finished toy and step-by-step instructions you can follow even if you have never sewn before.
